FS: Crank Bros Iodine wheels...£150....Please, release me, let me go.....
...cos I, don't love you, anymore.....
Right, I'm selling these. I hate them, I can't put into words the contempt I hold for them. I'd rather set myself on fire than ride another 10 feet on these black and gold monstrosities. They'd have looked lovely on the black five and co-ordinated with my CCDB (cheers Simon!) and gold bars, but the flexy POS things aren't going anywhere near another bike of mine.
So, if you do want to buy these, firstly, ask yourself why and seek help. However, if you still want them, I want £150. Which sounds a lot, but frankly if it puts you off them it's doing you a favour. They cost me £700 (I think, might have been £600) so they're a bit of a bargin if you like truly awful wheels. The wheels themselves have a few scrapes on the rims and I've had to true the rear where I lost the rear mech into the back wheel. What a great design, those widely spaced spokes...They come with the fitting kits to run standard QR front and rear, or 20mm front and bolt through 142x12 rear. You can run tubeless without the need for stans strips, or you could if the tyres sealed properly on the rims. Which they don't. What a surprise.....but I'll include the valves so you can cover yourself in sealant and find out for yourself.
I bought them March time, they've done a trip to the Alps and a few Wales runs but not had a massive amount of use, mainly because I get the rage every time I look at them.
Oh yeah, they're black and gold (JPS style) and they're flipping light. But that doesn't make up for the fact they're massively sh1t. Maybe if those Keerraaazzzyy Americans thought a bit more about function and a bit less about form I might not want to insert those Keeeerraazzzy spokes up their perfectly marketed but ultimately shite arses....

Laatst dit kut ding in men fiets gemonteerd:
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=24987

Achja, CB..
