SINGLE PLY
One layer of nylon holds I tall together. Wrapped form bead to bead, a single ply conforms well to the terrain and is lighter weight.
DUAL PLY
The nylon of the casing is folded over to provide two layers of protection. True, it’s heavier, but in Downhill applications the extra puncture resistance is essential.
