Thanks for your interest in the Alta bike. We are amazed by the success and great feedback we have had so far by the media, customers and people that would like to own one of our bikes.
We are sorry we canÂ’t answer everyoneÂ’s questions personally because we have been overwhelmed with enquires lately.
So we thought answer you all with one email with a bit more information about our current stock levels, delivery prices and a little more information about the bike.
To date we have manufactured 125 Alta bikes. We have the follow sizes and quantities left:
Green Medium: 6
White Large: 2
White Medium: 1
Yellow large: 5
Yellow Medium: 9
Prices:
Bike price: €665 (aprox $ 840)
Shipping Price: between €240-320 ( $300-400)
Credit Card fee: 4.7% of total amount
Please refer to the local tax authorities regarding import tax and duties. The product is produced and shipped from Taiwan.
Not all carriers deliver to the door (depending on country), any additional cost have to be paid by the purchaser.
We thought it would be best if we sold the last few bikes on a first come first served basis. If you would like to order a bike now, please reply with you size and colour choice (name, full address and phone nr) choice and we will send you a link to our payment site. (if you get in there quick enough!)
We are about to manufacture a new batch. These will take around 3-4 months to manufacture and ship. If you missed out on a bike in the last batch we will add your request to the next batch and reserve you one. Your reservation will require a deposit of €150, that way we can guarantee you a bike.
Any unreserved bikes will be announced for sale in approx 3 months.

Distributors:
We are not looking to use distributors in the near future because we are not interested in mass manufacturing the Alta Bikes. We want to keep the Alta Bike exclusive but at a good price, and we are sure you do too. We are sorry that you canÂ’t try the bike before you buy it, but weÂ’ve only had positive feedback so far.
Components:
There are no specifically branded components on the bike, as we want the bike to be as clean as possible. DonÂ’t worry they are all of high quality, we just asked the manufactures to de-brand them for us.
We have decided to go with a free wheel, but if you are interested in a fixed one this easily done by changing one part (speak to your local bike shop if you need advice).
Frame Geometry.
The Alta Bike is 54cm/58cm from center crank to seat post start. See attached catalogue for further information.
There is aprox 6 mm clearance from tire to frame with 700x23 road tires (the ones supplied).
Small/X-large frame size:
If we get enough orders we can make a small frame at around 48cm and a x-large 62cm.

Oke, misschien niet helemaal goed geformuleerd, I stand corrected.
Wat ik ermee bedoelde is dat die firma gewoon heel goed inspeelt op de vraag naar dat soort fietsjes, want die is er wel dergelijk.
Máár ik denk dat het voor de doorgewinterde fiets/ss liefhebber een beetje zonde is, omdat het toch aardig overpriced is en je dan beter zelf een fietsje op kan bouwen.
