Seen during the Eurobike trade show last weekend

What"s better, is the new version of the RC31!!
Meet the new RC31 Ti:

So what is the Ti part you ask yourself? To connect the carbon legs to the crown the RC31 used some short steel inserts, attached to the crown and the carbon legs. These Steel inserts are replaced for this for with titanium legs. This way Pace could make the fork 10% lighter and even better shock absorbing as the standard RC31.
A last pic:

The rep. told us the fork would be about 580 grams with a 20cm steerer tube.
In addition, we saw two derived forks from the "original", which will remain the first choice for weight and problably also riding characteristics.
Anyway, the first one was the Bontrager Swichtblade, without any text or whatever, only arrived on the second day of the show. But it was laying around for a while, but we were not allowed to take it to a scale of one of the other exhibitors. But it was not light!

The second was an Carbon leg/ Aluminum Crown fork of Kinesis. No additional Info, but it realy looked like a prototype or something and was heavy!

And oh, for the 29-ers, keep asking Pace for a 29-er version of the RC31, we asked for it and they said they should think about it, as more and more people are asking for it! The rep. said we had to keep asking our distributors for the fork so at the end they would listen. Looking forward to next years Pace booth

Oh, in addition, There was also a corbon leggen CX fork at Bontragers booth, the Satellite. No words on this fork either..
