This Sunday, the 21st of February, we invite all fixie riders, messengers, trickengers, and all cycle fanatics to experience and enjoy a day of track racing at the Alkmaar Velodrome.
On this day you will be taught the basics of track racing to compete in multiple track racing disciplines. For each discipline, the winners will receive a prize. So come join us for a day of fun and breathtaking excitement and put your money where your mouth is!

Entry fee:
20 euro per person (incl. food + drink)
Programme:
* Track ride instruction
* 500 meter time trial
* Scratch
* Team sprint
* Elimination race
Conditions:
* All track bikes are to be ridden WITHOUT brakes.
* Helmets are mandatory. If you don’t have a proper cycling helmet, you can rent one at the Velodrome.
* Gear ratio should be between 48×15 and 50×15.
* Make sure your bike is cleaned well.
* Handlebars must be plugged in at the end.
* Drop bars and toe clip or SPD pedals are recommended.
* Track bikes can be rent for 8 euro. If you’re planning to do so, bring your own pedals.
* Dressing rooms and showers are available and free.
