-THIS IS INTENDED TO BE THE CENTRAL POST IF YOU WANT TO GO FOR A RIDE STARTING IN ROTTERDAM- --> Please participate in the Poll!

Please post a comment for every bicyle activity you plan to do, so others can join in and it will be a even more awesome riding session.
+ the more Riders of our sport are visible on the street togeather, the better. The Gemeente of Rotterdam cant ingore us and our wish to have a own riding spot forever.

--> PS: Plans for setting up an organization are in progress and anybody willing to be part and help with setting it up is highly invited.

i would like to know how many MTB Freaks there are in Rotterdam/Rotterdam Area, who follow the disciplines of Street-, Dirt-, Freeriding or Downhillriding. Since i used to live here for 2 years now and finally will get my good Bike here, after having an appropriate storage place, i am intersted in meeting Riders from Rotterdam/Rotterdam Area from next year onwards. In my hometown my friends and i did already found a club whose idea was to unite all riders in order also to have a stronger bargaining power towards city projects etc. Since i now have more experience, knowledge and connections than those 3 years ago i am planning to do the same in Rotterdam, but it will need some preparation...

Hence, i would like you do post the following:
1. Riding Style
2. Name or Nickname
3. Where you are from
4. Profession (Would be interesting to know)

Furthermore i would like to know if you would be interested in weekly riding session on the weekends from next year onwards.

Hey man, I live in Delft/Den Haag, so no that far from Rotterdam. That weekly riding session in the weekends is pretty much a standard when it's not winter...but it's almost impossible to ride with the current weather conditions.

Anyway, to fill in your list;

what kind of project do you want to start? in the netherlands councils are pretty receptive to youth/sports related projects so if a good plan gets developed and you can prove it serves a substantial part of the youth in this area chances are big it'll get the green light..

Hey Guys,
thanks for your replies. I am really looking forward meeting up with you next year. I really wanna do Barbecues, NWD and Kranked Filmshows etc. at my place. Since for now it looks like i am going to stay in NL/Rotterdam, i really wanna found a Bicycle Club. Actually i am planning a Bike-Revolution , but first we have to start small and step by step. .
But yeah lets talk about all that when we meet up for a ride, we will be even more creative when i fly around on our bikes.... So for now i just ride my old-dutchbike and i am also looking for a better climate. Although, if we could get a big hall and would built a dirtline in it, we could ride ALL year long, jihaaaa.... . Another project i want to realise, but, step-by-step...

So i am going to work our Clubwebsite during the holidays, so keep it rolling somehow till next year. Furthermore for all Riders, who still didnt post their names: POST THEM SOON OR YOU WONT LEARN ANOTHER BIKETRICK FOR THE NEXT HALF YEAR!
