With the Rhythm frame more tuned in for dirt jumping we decided to add a more specific street bike or skatepark frame to the DMR range. The Transition frame is an all new design and generally is a heavier duty frame aimed 100% at skatepark and street riding and can be used with pegs if wanted. This Transition is ideally suited to the Marzocchi DJ24 suspension fork or a rigid fork of similar length. The Transition is built with oversize 4130 Cro.Mo tubing throughout for extra strength.
As with the other DMR frames The Transition frame has a heat-treated 4130 Cro.Mo front triangle with a large diameter down tube that gives a significant increase in strength and stiffness with a minimal weight increase.
The rear 6mm dropouts will take a 14mm axle hub like the DMR Revolver 14mm single speed hub, but 10mm axle adapters will be available separately. The rear centre is as short as possible to make it great for manuals, and the horizontal drop-outs allow adjustment of the wheelbase to suit. Up front the steering is on the quick side with a head angle of 72 degrees. Even though this bike is aimed at skatepark riding we did stop short of including rotor / gyro tabs
ziet er deftig uit.
